Harry Potter

In early June last year 2018, Ben (6) was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare form of childhood cancer that affects soft tissue. He has been undergoing chemotherapy treatment since then through the incredible oncology team at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. His consultant has described it as “a hard nut to crack” and his parents have had a second opinion at the Royal Marsden in Sutton.
It has been hard on the whole family and Ben’s brothers are obviously concerned for their sibling. Bens treatment has been so far Chemotherapy. 6 rounds to date, 7th was on 1st November 2018 and 3 weekly after that until Christmas. Due to the metastatic nature of the disease at this point surgery and radiotherapy have been ruled out as options.
Ben loves Harry Potter and we love brave Ben so we sent the whole family to harry potter studio tour at the Warner Bro’s studios.
