Freddie was a happy and healthy boy who was bubbly and sociable until 1st Nov 2017 when he woke up with a limp. His Mum took him to the Doctor and was referred to the hospital where they did blood tests and told them they needed to investigate further. Two days later he was having a lumbar in Leeds and the family were given the news of his diagnosis. It was a few days before his 5th birthday and he started treatment on his 5th birthday.
Freddie has done very well and he is now in the maintenance phase but still needs lots of treatment and he will hopefully complete it in Jan 2021.
Freddie has siblings Mia and Finn who are showing Freddie love and encouragement but all he wants is to be able to join and play in local football team with his friends, to be a fire-fighter when he grows up. (age 6 job dream!)
Well we thought this brave lad and his brother and sister need some quality sibling time so we bought them Merlin passes.
