During the bike ride you will be able to live track the progress of the four riders as they make their way between Milton Keynes and Mablethorpe. The ride starts on Saturday 22nd of August in Milton Keynes and ends on Monday 24th August 2015 at Mablethorpe in Lincolnshire. The riders aim to start each day at around 8.00am and will ride around 80 miles each day looking to finish some time between 16:00 and 18:00pm.
During the ride you can track the riders progress and to do this we are using a website called runkeeper which uses gprs tracking. You can access the tracking on any of the days from around 8:00am until the ride ends. After each day the riders will upload a blog post of the day with some images so everyone can see how the day progressed.
A couple of pointers for viewing the live tracking :- When connecting to the live tracking map it might take 30 seconds to a minute to load, so please be patient with it 🙂 If you want to get the latest location and are not a member of Runkeeper then you will need to refresh the page to show the latest location details each time you check.
Bike Ride Schedule
Leave Milton Keynes 8:00am on Saturday 22nd August arrive Birmingham between 16:00 and 18:00 (Circa 80 Miles)
Leave Birmingham 8:00am on Sunday 23rd August arrive Newark between 16:00 and 18:00 (Circa 80 Miles)
Leave Newark 8:00am on Monday 24th August arrive Mablethorpe between 16:00 and 18:00 (Circa 80 Miles)
Tracking will be available during ride times. The tracking is dependant on a number of factors such as mobile battery life, bad weather, no gprs signal, but we will aim to have the tracking available throughout the day.
Thank you everyone for all your support and please keep checking back and check out our daily blog post at the end of each day.
What You Will See
