Tora Browell is only a few weeks old (18 weeks at the time this was written) and it should be a time of great joy and celebration instead at only 10 weeks old her parents got some devastating news, Tora has Bilateral retinoblastoma.
She has D grade tumour in her left eye and has lost vision and a grade B tumour in her right eye, i mean just WOW! She will have to endure 6 rounds of chemotherapy with laser therapy and Regular eye examinations under anaesthesia at Birmingham children’s hospital.
The thing that Tora loves only being a few weeks old is sensory rooms but due to risk of infection can no longer risk going.
So we at the Rae Rae Trust have decided to bring the sensory experience to her by purchasing sensory toys we hope she will love and help her and her parents enjoy the experience together, there is a nice selection some to play with some for visual and some for bath time.
If you would like to raise money for the Trust or make a donation you can do this through our website https://www.raeraetrust.org or contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org help us help more families to make precious memories and put smiles on little faces.
